Compressed air driers are used to avoid the contamination problems in the compressed Air. The Air driers are two types. One is Heatless Compressed Air drier and another one is Refrigerated Air Drier.
HEAT LESS COMPRESSED AIR DRIERS:
These types of b>Air Driers are designed to take advantage of the natural tendency of desiccants to establish equilibrium with their surroundings and to deliver dry and clean air used for pneumatic instrumentation or critical applications.
The drier is fixed on a base frame with all accessories and in a ready condition to operate. Mere bed bolt is enough to erect the driers. A rain, dust and moisture free room is preferable for erection.
REFREGERATED AIR DRIERS :
This type of air drier is compact in size and easy principle. Mere Condensation of moisture in air by cooling. The Specialty of this type drier is without purge air loss.
AFTER COOLERS:
Air and water Cooled Systems are used. Air-cooled after coolers are normally recommended for small capacities to reduce initial cost and get a better result where water-cooled after coolers are recommended for all capacities.
MOISTURE SEPERATOR:
It is used in the system to reduce the moisture contents and filter the air upto 10-micron rate without losing line pressure.
ELECTRONIC AUTOMATIC DRAIN VALVES:
This is to drain the condensate water from dryers, moisture separators etc. It eliminates manual operation.
OIL FILTER:
The oil particles in the system Air from the compressor head is completely removed by using activated carbon filter.
MINI AIR DRYER:
This is supplied for small capacities with all accessories Viz: Prefilter, alumina absorber and oil filter in a single connection system.
